FREEMAN ROOFING

Freeman Roofing's new office and Manufacturing facility in Tauranga.

Designed to include 2000sqm of high stud manufacturing space, 2x30m gantry crane, 200sqm of high spec offices.

​

The Manufacturing envelope consists of concrete precast panels and Freeman Roofing Alpine Tray cladding. The office envelope consists of rough sawn board form precast concrete panels, glazed curtain wall with tint finish, aluminium composite cladding & vertical powdercoated louvres for heat management during the hot summer days.

Freeman Roofing required a Nooteboom trailer with rear steering capable of transporting 24m roofing sheets. The truck was required to drive through the Manufacturing space and be loaded by the Gantry Crane. Due to the proximity of the Manufacturing building to the road a Vertical lifting door clad with Alpine Tray was specified to the road frontage to allow for the engineered turning circle required.

135mm CLT midfloor and CLT stairs allowed for an efficient build and Fire Rating solution.
