NZ VAN LINES

As part of a design and build contract for one of Taurangas leading construction firms, Blank Architectural Design was contracted with the architectural design and structural detailing of a new purpose-built facility in the Tauriko Business Estate for NZ Van Lines – New Zealand’s premier moving company. 

​

The modern head office backs on to a generous 1,200m2 high stud warehouse. A 9m cantilevered canopy to the side of the warehouse provides excellent shelter.

 

Dark precast panels, matching cladding contrasted with the light stained cedar feature entrance provide a sleek, modern style to the building.

 

Safety barriers were powdercoated yellow to accent the dark panels and provide a stylish and colourful addition to the warehouse exterior.

 

From the office, a rear exposed aggregate patio with glass canopy adds a spacious outdoor area for staff to enjoy in the hot summers sun.
